Payal Agarwal
A practice in figure, surface, and the weight of touch.
"Built in six layers. The painting is finished only when the surface has memory."
Payal Agarwal is a contemporary figurative painter working between gesture and stillness. Her paintings are slow, built over three to six months in acrylic. Her work has been selected internationally and is currently exhibited in galleries across the US, with European representation planned for 2029.
