And in between, on planets like this one, beings who act, who choose, who accumulate consequence. We are the only conscious point in the entire spectrum aware that the spectrum exists.

The painting proposes that the cosmos does not produce us incidentally. We are what it was building toward. The spiral exists because something needed to become aware of it. That something is you.
